Low Temperature

The low temperature sub group works on commercial and residential solar thermal technologies including Solar Air Heaters, Ground Coupled Heat Pumps, Solar Air Conditioning, and Phase Change Energy Storage. The residential projects are encapsulated by the "Greenhouse Neutral House" theme.

Other projects we have been involved with include:
* Development of smart control systems including predictive control for water heaters and air conditioners
* Smart control of building HVAC systems
* Solar crop drying systems
* Greenhouse science
* Hybrid solar systems including solar concentrators and PV/T systems
* Solar water heater modelling using TRNSYS
