Who are we?

The Australian National University Solar Car Team comprises of 9 students from various disciplines from the Engineering department at The Australian National University. This is the first year that the team has worked together but with lots of hard work and the teams’ skills, we are aiming for a top 3 finish in the World Solar Cycle Challenge.

In 2005 we plan to race a solar power assisted bike from Ceduna, South Australia, to Adelaide to gain valuable knowledge and experience so that the team will compete in the much larger World Solar Challenge from Darwin to Adelaide.

Through team dedication and persistence, combined with the facilities of The Australian National University, this team will become the student project that everyone wants to be a part of.
